THE COUNCIL HELD ON WEDNESDAY 11th JANUARY 2012

78. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD 14th DECEMBER 2011 circulated previously were signed as a correct and accurate record
79. UPDATE ON MEETING HELD ON 14TH DECEMBER 2011
(i) Minute 6(ii) – The letter to Asda Chief Executive has been sent. – Noted
(ii) Minute 71(i) P11/W1651(Minor) 24 Westfield Road – An amendment had been received, but not in time for the Agenda. The Clerk would contact SODC saying the Amendment would be discussed at the next meeting on February 8th
80. AMENDMENTS TO PREVIOUS APPLICATIONS
i) P11/W1676 (Minor) 1,2 &3 The Croft Mulberry Drive. Demolition of existing unattractive rear extensions to Nos 1 & 2 The Croft and replacement with one and two storey rear and side extensions. Demolition of 3 The Croft and construction of new replacement dwelling. Recommend refusal –Amendment (As amplified by additional information received from Agent dated 24 November 2011). Recommend Refusal. Amendment 2 (As amended by drawing Numbers FCL1/1.31F, FCL1/1.40E, FCL2/1.30B, FCL2/1.40C and FCL2/1.41D.accompanying e-mail from agent dated 12 December 2011).
The Architect was invited to speak to the Application and the Amendment as was Mr Tims, resident at 5 Farm Close Lane.
It was Agreed to Recommend Approval of the Amendment.
ii) P11/W1675 (Minor) 1 Farm Close Lane. Erection of one new dwelling – No Strong Views – Amendment 1 (As amended by drawing Numbers
FCL1/1.31F, FCL1/1.40E, FCL2/1.30B, FCL2/1.40C and FCL2/1.41D accompanying e-mail from agent dated 12 December 2011).
The Architect explained the Amendment and pointed out that the curtilage of the property was as shown and therefore there was no encroachment on to the carriageway of Farm Close Lane. Agreed to Recommend Approval of the Amendment
81. NEW PLANNING APPLICATIONS
i) P11/W1930(Other) + P11/1932/LB Other Listed Building) 2 Blenheim Lane Removal of lean-to porch. Erection of new lobby/porch extension to provide link between house and outbuilding. Improvements to outbuilding including rebuilding south east wall to provide additional living accommodation.
The applicant was given permission to speak to the application
Agreed to Recommend Approval
ii) P11/W1843 (Other) 58 Littleworth Extend/convert extra study to form garage. Agreed to Recommend Approval
82. PLANNING DECISIONS AND NOTIFICATIONS – None
83. REPORT ON SODC PLANNING TRAINING – Cllrs Coveley and Lamont gave a verbal report
84. CORRESPONDENCE
i) SODC – letter re Enforcement Order on land off Windmill Lane stating that the 6 month period for compliance with the enforcement notice finished in December 2011. The Clerk to contact the enforcement Officer at SODC
