Co-option of new Parish Councillor

At its last meeting the Parish Council agreed to fill its remaining vacancy by co-opting Mrs Ruth Old on to the Council. Mrs Old lives in Crown Road and will serve on th Finance and General Purposes Committee. This co-option means that the Parish Council now has its full complement of 15 councillors.

Co-option of new Parish Councillor

New Chairman for the Parish Council

At its Annual General Meeting Councillor Janet Carr was obliged to step down as Parish Council Chairman having served three successive years in the post. The Council’s Standing Orders state that that is the maximum amount a Councillor can be in the post in one go. The new Chairman is Councillor Jim Reilly.
